MBST strives to comply with all applicable privacy laws which govern how MBST collects, uses, discloses and stores your personal information. We believe it is important that you know how we treat the information you may provide to us.
1. Information Requests and Collection
MBST collects personal information in a number of ways, including:
- Directly from you, when you provide information by phone or in documents such as a Training Needs Assessment Form or Course Feedback and Evaluation Forms.
- By contacting your employer (“the Client”) to whom services are supplied, in order to carry out such services.
Information collected by MBST can be shared with the Client in aggregate. When providing personal information to MBST, individuals will be asked for authorisation to share the information with the Client in totem.
Some examples of the types of personal information that may be held by MBST include your name, contact details, desktop application skill levels, job responsibilities, including volunteered information.
2. Information Sharing
MBST will only share personal information with other companies or individuals outside of MBST in the following limited circumstances.
- We have your consent. MBST prescribe to an opt-in approach to the sharing of any personal information.
- We provide individuals associated with MBST access to personal information if required to do so to carry out services obligated by the Client.
- We are required to do so by law.
3. Data Analysis and Mining
Survey responses collected may be collated and results shown in aggregate. Such aggregated, non-personal information may be shared with third parties. Such information does not identify individuals.
4. Newsletters, eLearning Subscriptions and Promotional Email
MBST aims to maintain a supportive relationship with the Clients’ employees. If you have elected to receive periodical emails and educational communications from MBST, you may opt-out of receiving them by following instructions included in the communication.
5. Information Classification
MBST classifies all information according to a classification schema. This classification easily identifies the level of security intended for that document. Each employee and associates of MBST is inducted on the classification scheme and understand the required security controls and handling procedures for each classification. 6. Data Integrity
MBST only uses personal information for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the personal information held is accurate, complete and current, but updates and corrections to personal information will be made whenever necessary.
7. Information Security
We take appropriate measures to protect against unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. Access to personal information is limited to MBST employees, contractors or associates who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
8. Information Destruction
Hard copies containing personal information will be securely destroyed after information is transferred to electronic storage.
Electronic data is stored on secure storage mediums owned and maintained solely by MBST.
9. Changes to the Policy
This Privacy Policy may change but MBST will not reduce your rights without your explicit consent.
